The Big Bang Theory is an American series created by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady, who are the executive producers of the show. It premiered on CBS on September 24, 2007. Located in Pasadena, California, the show is two Caltech prodigies in their 20s, an experimental physicist (Leonard Hofstadter) and the other a theoretical physicist , who live across the aisle attractive blonde waitress with show-biz aspirations . Leonard and Sheldon geekiness and pure intellect contrasted to achieve a comic effect with Penny's social skills and common sense. Two friends of the same nerd of them, Howard and Rajesh are also protagonistas.El show is produced by Warner Bros. Television and Chuck Lorre Productions. In March 2009, it was reported that The Big Bang Theory has been renewed for a third and fourth season on CBS.
